SeaSonic is close to releasing the Snow Silent 1050W, a new power supply with a nearly all-white design. The unit has 80Plus Platinum certification and uses a single +12V rail design, it's cooled by a 120mm fan and has fully modular cabling. Pricing and availability is unknown.
This 80 Plus Platinum certified unit offers a single +12V rail design, and most modern electrical and thermal protection mechanisms. It features fully modular cabling, which includes a 24-pin ATX, two 8-pin EPS (from which one breaks up to two 4-pin ATX), eight 6+2 pin PCIe, fourteen SATA, five Molex, and one Berg connectors. Other features include hybrid fan control, which completely powers down the fan below a load threshold.
