ATI's RADEON 9700 PRO for the Fujitsu FMV-W desktop series

ATI announced today that their Raedon 9700 Pro is chosen by Fujitsu to power their new FMV-W line :
Since its launch this summer, ATI's RADEON 9700 PRO has been acclaimed as a truly revolutionary graphics chip that delivers high-speed performance and cinematic-quality images unlike anything ever seen on the PC. The RADEON 9700 PRO delivers unparalleled power and performance by incorporating eight parallel rendering pipelines, Microsoft® DirectX® 9 support, AGP 8X support and a fully programmable floating point architecture.

Fujitsu's FMV-W series, featuring the Intel® Pentium® 4 processor and the revolutionary RADEON 9700 PRO, will start shipping October 21, 2002. Fujitsu will also be offering select models within the FMV-W series that include ATI's RADEON™ 7000 graphics board.
