Corsair Dominator Platinum 3400MHz 16GB kit sets you back $999.99

Corsair introduces the Dominator Platinum 3400MHz 16GB Limited Edition Orange quad-channel memory kit. Designed to match the color scheme of the Gigabyte X99-SOC Champion motherboard, this DDR4 kit promises supreme overclocking performance.

The memory modules use an aluminum heatspreader with DHX fins and customizable "light pipes" and the kit comes with Corsair's Dominator Airflow Platinum LED fan solution. The modules run at 3400MHz at 16-18-18-40 timings with a voltage of 1.35V. Pricing is a whopping $999.99 and you get lifetime warranty.

To demonstrate the overclocking potential of these sticks, Corsair let overclocking legend HiCookie take them for a spin. Using the Gigabyte X99-SOC Champion motherboard he managed to overclock one of these memory sticks to 4365.6MHz using LN2 cooling.

The fastest DDR4 memory available from Corsair, the Dominator Platinum 3400MHz 16GB (4x4GB, 16-18-18-36) memory kits have a striking industrial with an orange anodized heat spreader that matches the color scheme on Gigabyte SOC motherboards.
