iRiver to launch 1GB and 2GB U10 in Europe

iRiver's European website now shows a 1GB and 2GB model will be available at launch. However, there's still no information on iRiver's American website and there's no word yet on the higher-capacity models which will feature a 8GB MicroDrive.

Anyway here's a quick look at the features of the U10:

"direct click" controller, push the top, bottom, left and right sides of the screen to navigate

Supports: MP3, WMA (+DRM), OGG, JPG, TXT, and MPEG4 SP (15fps max)

FM radio with 12 presets, record to MP3

Output power 15mw/channel

EQ: 10 presets plus a custom parametric equalizer (like Rio Karma's, we wonder?)

Display: 2.2-inch TFT at 320x240 pixels

Built-in mic for voice recording to MP3

Direct Audio Recording to MP3 (via line-input)

Built-in battery good for up to 20 hours playback

Size 69 x 47 x 16mm, Weight 70g

Docking station and remote will be available for sale separately
