WCCF Tech came across rumors that NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 980 Ti may launch for $799. The site got its hands on a leaked price list from EVGA that shows pricing starting at $799 for the reference model and a version with EVGA ACX2.0+ cooling. The list also reveals EVGA will be offering an overclocked reference model as well as two overclocked versions with custom cooling solutions.
I also have with me details about various EVGA variants of the GTX 980 Ti. Without further ado lets start with the cheapest. The prices mentioned are inclusive of tax I might add so there will be a 20-30 dollar variance depending on where you are in the world. The GEFORCE GTX980TI REFERENCE card is going to be shipping for $799. The GEFORCE GTX980TI with the EVGA ACX2.0+ cooling solution will be shipping for the same price so the reference card will probably be limited to OEMs only. Then we have the overclocked EVGA GEFORCE GTX980TI SC (SuperClocked) edition with ACX2.0+ cooling solution. This particular variant will retail for $810.
The site also came across a rumor that NVIDIA may introduce the GTX 980 Ti for as low as $649, and cut the pricing of the GTX 980, but that rumor seems less trustworthy.
