Six SATA ports are plainly visible, two of them part of a SATA Express connector. The spec sheet also lists an "Ultra M.2" slot that's likely mounted on the board's underbelly and linked to four PCIe Gen3 lanes.
Despite the board's gamer branding, there's no Killer hardware in sight. The Gigabit Ethernet controller and 802.11ac Wi-Fi card both come from Intel. The requisite Realtek audio is backed by DTS Connect, which can encode multi-channel game audio for digital output. Around back, you get Type-C and Type-A USB 3.1 ports along with a selection of traditional USB 3.0 fare.
