One of the sad things about AMD's GPU presentation from Tuesday is that we still have to rely on leaks for most of the information about the upcoming flagship cards. Leaked benchmarks are making the round showing Fury X outperforms the GeForce GTX Titan X while Fury comes close to beating the GTX 980 Ti. We'll have to wait a few more days to confirm this.
Meanwhile TweakTown claims to have received the full specifications of the Radeon R9 Fury X.
The card features a 28nm Fiji-based chip with 4096 stream processor, 64 compute units, 64 ROPs and 256 texture units. It requires two 8-pin PCIe power connectors, has a TDP of 275W and delivers a raw computing power of 8.6 teraflops.
The engine clock is listed as up to 1050MHz and the card comes with 4GB of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) clocked at 1000MHz effective. The memory has a bandwidth of up to 512GB/s.
It's coming on June 24th for $649.
