Together with the arrival of the Radeon R9 300 series, AMD shared the specifications of its Radeon R9 Fury X flagship card. Just like Togna, this watercooled model uses the GCN 1.2 architecture.

It has 4096 stream processors, a core frequency of 1050MHz and 4GB High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) clocked at 1000MHz effective. The memory has a 4096-bit bus and offers a memory bandwidth of 512GB/s.

Fury X is powered by two 8-pin PCIe power connector and has a TDP of 275W. Display connectors include three DisplayPort 1.2 outputs and one HDMI 1.4, but sadly no HDMI 2.0.

The NDA expires on June 24th so that's the date when the reviews will start hitting the web. The card will be sold for $649 and the Radeon R9 Fury will follow on July 14th.
