AMD A8-7670K APU hits the market

AMD quietly added the A8-7670K, a now affordable APU arriving just in time before Microsoft's Windows 10 launch.

Priced at $117.99 or below, this unlocked chip should be available very soon, it fills the gap between the $124.99 A10-7850K and the $94.99 A8-7650K.

The A8-7670K is a quad-core Godavari/Kaveri Refresh chip, we heard about this chip a couple of months ago but it seems AMD saw reason to delay it until today. The chip has a 3.6GHz clockspeed with 3.9GHz Turbo, 4MB L2 cache, six Radeon GPU cores clocked at 757MHz and a 95W TDP. It's a Black Edition so the multiplier is unlocked.
