Intel invests $60 million in Chinese drone maker

Intel just announced a $60 million investment in Yuneec, a Shanghai-based developer of drones. Intel CEO Brian Krzanich explains his company made the investment because Yuneec is shaping up to be a game changer int he drone industry and added that drones play into Intel's vision of a smart and connected world.

With its drones, Yuneec primarily focuses on aerial imaging, it has a range of solutions capable of taking high-res photos and it even has a drone capable of shooting 30fps video in 4K resolution.
