A report by South Korea's Electronic Times confirms AMD will use the 14nm process of GlobalFoundries and Samsung for the production of a new CPU and a new GPU.

AMD has yet to reveal any official details about the production partner for its upcoming chips but is expected to talk about this during its earnings call around mid-January.
The paper said Samsung's foundry business and Globalfoundries will jointly start producing a central processing chip as well as a graphics processing chip for AMD next year using their 14-nanometre technology.
