Arctic Alpine 11 can passively cool a low-end CPU

Arctic Cooling announces the Alpine 11, probably one of the most simplistic CPU coolers I've seen in a long time. Made entirely from aluminium, this heatsink is 95mm wide and 69mm tall.

The Alpine 11 comes with pre-applied MX-2 thermal compound and is capable of passively cooling CPUs with a TDP of up to 45W, although Arctic warns that thermal throttling may be necessary on CPUs with a TDP of over 35W.

Overall, it looks a bit like an oversized version of a Northbridge cooler from over a decade ago. It will likely do a poor effort at cooling your CPU, but fortunately it costs only 12.99EUR.
