TechPowerUp
has the scoop about a new GeForce GTX 950 video card from ASUS that relies exclusively on PCI Express slot power. The card is a full-height, dual-slot model and features a 1026MHz GPU core clockspeed, 1190MHz GPU Boost, and 2GB GDDR5 memory clocked at 6600MHz.
It has a TDP of under 75W and features a heatsink with two 70mm fans.
Pricing and availability is unknown.
The cooler shroud follows the same design theme as ASUS' mainline Z170 series motherboards, such as the Z170-A. The VRM design by ASUS keeps power draw of the GPU under 75W, and hence relies entirely on PCIe slot power.
