CRYORIG announces owners of its C7 and M9 line of processor coolers can receive a free alternate washer-based install add-on that allows for backplate-free installation:
PC thermal solution innovator CRYORIG offers free parts for alternative mounting of the C7 and the M9i/a CPU Coolers. The CRYORIG C7 and M9 line of products have been gaining a lot of support by ITX system builders due to their miniature foot print and high quality performance. Recently CRYORIG has received much feedback regarding backplate interference with certain components on the back of ITX and MicroATX form factored mainboard. Although the backplate for the C7 and M9 is non-conductive and safe to install even if components like backside IC’s or extra-long soldering pins come into contact.

CRYORIG is now announcing that all C7 and M9 users are eligible to apply for a free alternate washer based install add-on that allows for backplate-less installation. The washer system works with the existing mounting kit and replaces the need of the backplate. The washer kit is being included in all C7’s and M9’s manufactured after Dec. 31st 2015. To apply for the ITX Washer kit, users are requested to simply write an email to CRYORIG’s official support mail including the following information: The registration code of the product, full mailing address including name and phone number. CRYORIG’s support team will respond to each individual request later for verification.
