While the overall PC market is struggling, the DIY gaming PC market is expected to see stable growth this year. There's strong competition from the gaming laptop market but the DIY PC market is still going strong. A report by DigiTimes mentions that enthusiast PC component maker ThermalTake expects to see 20 percent growth this year:
Citing Taiwan-based gaming PC component maker Thermaltake as an example, the sources pointed out that the player's February revenues were NT$247 million (US$7.63 million), down 14.82% from a month ago, but up 36.15% on year with combined revenues for the first two months of 2016 also growing 22.36% on year. The sources believe Thermaltake will continue to see growth and enjoy a 20% on-year growth in 2016.

Thermaltake sees over 80% of its revenues come from chassis, power supply and cooling module products, while the rest is contributed by its Tt eSports gaming products such as mouses, earphones and backpacks.
