Rumors are going around that NVIDIA is planning to refresh most of its high-end video card lineup in June. A report from Korean tech site HW Battle indicates NVIDIA plans to launch the GP104-400-A1 and GP104-200-A1 in early June and the GP104-150-A1 by mid-June.

Whereas NVIDIA's high-end Maxwell video card lineup used a mix of GM200 and GM204 GPUs, this report suggests that the replacements for the GTX 970, GTX 980 and GTX 980 Ti will all three be based on the GP104 GPU. If correct, it's unknown how the GP100 GPU will fit into this new naming scheme, perhaps a new Titan but other than that it's a bit of a mystery.

The GTX 980 and GTX 980 Ti replacements will reportedly be available in reference and custom designs, whereas the GTX 970 replacement will not get a reference design. Guess we'll find out more in the coming weeks.
