Zotac showcases two PC-on-a-HDMI-stick solutions

Zotac reveals two new PC-on-a-stick solutions; the passively cooled ZBOX PI221 and the actively cooled PI220. Both PCs are the size of a large HDMI dongle and come with Windows 10 Home Edition preinstalled.

Both models have very similar specifications, they have an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 "Cherry Trail" quad-core processor with a 1.44GHz base clock and 1.84GHz Turbo, 2GB DDR3L-RS1600 memory, integrated Intel graphics, and 32GB onboard eMMC storage. Other features include 802.11ac WiFi + Bluetooth 4.0, SD memory card reader, USB 3.0, and headphone/microphone ports.

Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot is also a standard feature for quick data transfer or easy storage expansion.

The PI220 and PI221 are complete systems ready to go with pre-installed memory, storage and OS. The PI220 is an energy-sipping unit that is whisper quiet with a smart active micro fan, and the PI221 enables silent operation with a passively cooled solution and zero moving parts. Both models deliver desktop performance in a pocket-able form, and bundled with an HDMI extension cable for flexible connections.
