Last week AMD said it would provide a Polaris update on June 1. The wording of the announcement made us suspicious and it seems this was justified as Polaris is still at least one month away from us.

The company is currently hosting a Polaris Tech Day in Macau, the Chinese version of Las Vegas, and photos that were briefly published on Daeguen Lee’s Liveblog indicate everything the company announces at this press event will be under NDA until Wednesday, June 29th 9am EST.

It appears this is also the date for the first reviews of Polaris video cards. Actual product availability of the card is expected for early July.
