Raijintek demonstrates first passive liquid cooling solution or CPUs

Raijintek's R&D department came up with a new watercooling product that works entirely passively. This patent-protected technology requires no power and produces no noise as it needs no pump nor fans.

The closed-loop watercooler adopts the same principle as a heatpipe to manage the transfer of heat between two solid interfaces. The heat from your processor makes the special coolant change phase to a vapor, which condenses back to liquid in the radiator and flows back down to the block.

TechPowerUp saw the cooler in action at Computex and says it seems to work well. The first products based on this technology will be launched soon, it will be interesting to see how they perform!
