AMD Socket AM4 will not be compatible with existing coolers

While some reports indicated that AMD's Socket AM4 would be compatible with existing processor coolers, word from Computex seems to be this will not be the case.

Several cooling firms had Socket AM4 upgrade kits on display, below you can see the AM4 upgrade kit from Noctua. As usual, the Austrian cooling company offers these kits free of charge so you'll be able to continue to use your old Noctua cooler with a Zen processor (proof of purchase is required).
