AMD Radeon Technologies Group head Raja Koduri revealed on Twitter that he's in Shanghai for Vega related business. Not a lot of details are shared but it seems there's a celebration going on as the upcoming Vega card hit an important milestone.

Koduri says it will be a "long way to go before you see it", no specifics are mentioned but AMD's own roadmaps point to a launch around early 2017. Vega promises better performance/Watt than Polaris, it will be positioned for the high-end market and will feature HBM2.
