A couple of more details and photos of the Sapphire Radeon RX 480 Nitro 8GB were revealed by TechPowerUp. It's a slick-looking custom-design card with a dual 100mm fan cooling solution. The cooler features a dense aluminium fin-stack heatsink with copper heatpipes and the fans are detachable to make cleaning easier.

While previous leaks showed an awkward silver/chrome finish on the metal cooler shroud, the final design goes for a more elegant gunmetal finish. The top side of the card features a Sapphire logo with RGB LED lighting and the photos also reveal the RX 480 Nitro has a very neat backplate.

Sapphire implemented a 8-pin PCIe power connector, which is located along the rear side of the PCB, and gave the card a dual-BIOS. The GPU clockspeed is rumored to be up to 1350MHz

While we don't know the final retail pricing, OverclockersUK lists it for £249.95 (incl. VAT), which is about 9 percent more than the reference design from AMD. This implies a US pricing of around $259.
