Microsoft rolled out the Windows 10 Anniversary Update last week and now the software giant is getting ready to publish the first insider builds of the Redstone 2 update. Expected to be launched in April 2017, Redstone 2 will be the next major feature update for Windows 10. An exact launch date for the new insider builds isn't known, it will arrive this month, perhaps as early as this week.
According to the source, Microsoft will rolling out build 14901 to Insiders, which will be the first Redstone 2 build for the program. Rumors have also claimed that Redstone 2 will focus more on Windows 10 Mobile than its predecessors, and it will arrive in April, 2017. This time frame possibly coincides with Microsoft's numerous hardware releases, including the highly-anticipated "Surface Phone".
