While Windows was long regarded as the laughing stock of the operating system market in terms of security, Microsoft has put a lot of effort in beefing up the defenses of Windows. Due to its massive marketshare, Windows remains a popular attack target but security experts agree Windows 10 is the most secure version of Windows ever thanks to a string of of innovative security technologies that take out entire classes of attacks. Full details at PC World.
The bar for security is much higher than it used to be, as Microsoft has added multiple advanced mitigations in Windows 10 that take out entire classes of attacks.
