The first AMD Naples SoC benchmark results hit the web, this is an upcoming server chip with 32 cores and 64 threads. WCCF Tech spotted an entry in the Geekbench database, it reveals the performance of an engineering sample with a 1.44Ghz base clock and 2.9GHz Boost.

It's a dual-socket platform so you're seeing the score for a total of 64 cores, coupled with a total of 128GB of DDR4 memory. If these results are authentic, it's nice to know Naples samples are out there but the performance doesn't tell us a lot. The performance looks horrible, probably because it's still an early sample in need of optimization.
