USB Killer tested on a Microsoft Surface

Remember the $50 USB Killer, the device that can destroy a computer (and other devices) by frying the USB host and other components?

With Microsoft's Windows 10 event coming up later today, the guys from Nordic Hardware decided to test what happens when you plug the USB Killer into an old Microsoft Surface:
