DigiTimes reports the PC supply chain is seeing a replacement trend in the DIY market. Part of the increased demand is attributed to Blizzard's new Overwatch, which already has over 20 million active players worldwide. The trend is expected to continue, especially with Intel's and AMD's new processors coming up soon.
Since Blizzard is planning to host several gaming events in the fourth quarter, while AMD and Intel are both preparing to mass shipping their new CPUs in the first quarter of 2017, sources from the channel retailers expect their sales to continue rising for both quarters.

Asustek Computer has been forming partnerships with Blizzard to promote its Republic of Gamers (ROG) branded motherboards, graphics cards and peripherals and the sources have seen rising demand for these products.
