DigiTimes has a bit of news about the products Intel and NVIDIA will launch in the near-term. The site notes Intel will release several new Kaby Lake processors at CES 2017, which is not really a surprise.

This will include the H-series for high-performance and gaming laptops, as well as several desktop CPUs and the 200-series desktop chipsets.

Another interesting snippet is that NVIDIA is planning to release the GeForce GTX 1050 for laptops. Mobile computers with the GTX 1060 are currently seeing strong demand in China and Southeast Asia and the arrival of a mobile variant of the GTX 1050 is expected to further boost sales.
