NVIDIA uploaded a new GeForce 387.57 hotfix driver, you can grab it over here.

This releases targets two specific issues. First up it resolves a crash that occurs in Minecraft and some other Java-based titles. Secondly, it fixes a bug that caused "Debug Mode" to be on by default on Pascal-based GPUs. Not sure if the latter affected performance in any way.
This is GeForce Hot Fix driver version 378.57 that addresses the following:

- Fixed crash in Minecraft and some other Java-based titles
- Resolved 'Debug Mode' as default option on Pascal based GPUs
