VideoCardz discovered a listing of an AMD Vega based video card in the CompuBench database. This suggests boards are circulating and that the launch is weeks, rather than months, away from us.

The benchmark database entry reveals this Vega card has 64 compute units, a 1000MHz frequency and a 1200MHz Boost. On average, the listing suggests Vega is faster than the GeForce GTX 1080, but not as fast as the GTX 1080 Ti:
Bear in mind OpenCL benchmarks are not representing gaming performance. However, the fact that Vega is already faster than GTX 1080 in such an early stage, is indeed optimistic.
