Intel cooperates with Skype for more performance and quality

At the second day of the IDF, Intel announced a cooperation with Skype to boost performance on Intel's latest processors.

The goal of the cooperation isn't solely aimed at performance, but also to improve overall audio quality. The Intel executive told VoIP is an opportunity to improve the quality of telephone conversations by a huge magnitude over the old Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
