Posted on Tuesday, April 18 2017 @ 16:54:54 CEST by

A couple of new Red Devil cards from PowerColor hit the market today. First up we have the Red Devil RX 570, this model has a 1320MHz base clockspeed and 4GB GDDR5 clocked at 7GHz.
PowerColor Red Devil RX 570 4GB GDDR5 utilizes 4GB of GDDR5 memory with 2048 stream processors, ships with 1320MHz core clock speed, and has 1750MHz memory clock speed which is connected via a new high speed 256-bit memory interface. It has the capability to switch from Ultra Overclocking to Silent Overclocking or vice versa for choosing the BIOS fitting your need, faster clocks or more balanced overclock with quiet operation. Therefore, on Silent BIOS, it ships with 1270MHz. PowerColor Red Devil RX 570 4GB GDDR5 equips an 8 pin power connector with superior 6+1 multi-phases board design enhances the power efficiency and also stabilizes the voltage precisely. In order to achieve best thermal solution, PowerColor Red Devil RX 570 uses the Double Blade III technology which increases 20% more airflows than other fan technology and prevents dust deposition on fans as well. The Double Blade III is made with triple 80mm 2-ball bearing fans and 9 pieces of fan blades, with 2pcs of 8mm and 2pcs of 6mm nickel-plated heat pipe for the best heat dissipation. Moreover, PowerColor Red Devil RX 570 adopts the Mute Fan Technology that intelligently turns off the fan when the temperature is below 60°C, providing silent gaming during medium and low load while reducing power consumption simultaneously.
Next we have the Red Devil RX 580 and the Red Devil Golden Sample RX 580 (pictured below). The regular Red Devil has a core clockspeed of up to 1380MHz while the Golden Sample offers up to 1425MHz. Both cards have 8GB GDDR5 memory with a 8000MHz frequency.
Both PowerColor Red Devil Golden Sample RX 580 and Red Devil RX 580 utilize 8GB of GDDR5 memory with 2304 stream processors and have 2000MHz memory clock speed which is connected via a new high speed 256-bit memory interface. They have the capability to switch from Ultra Overclocking to Silent Overclocking or vice versa for choosing the BIOS fitting your need, faster clocks or more balanced overclock with quiet operation. On the OC BIOS, Red Devil Golden Sample RX 580 ships with 1425Mhz core clock speed and on the other hand Red Devil RX 580’s core clock speed is 1380Mhz. On the Silent BIOS, Red Devil Golden Sample RX580’s core clock is 1411Mhz and Red Devil RX580 is 1355Mhz. Both models equip an 8-pin + 6-pin power connector with superior 6+1 multi-phases board design enhances the power efficiency and stability and Dr. MOS provides superior power efficiency and also offers better thermal protection.

In order to achieve the best thermal solution, Red Devil Golden Sample equips 8mm + 6mm nickel-plated heat pipe and Red Devil equips 4pcs of 8 mm nickel-plated heat pipe taking care of delivering heats from the components to 2 of 100 mm 2-ball bearing cooling fans for the best heat dissipation. Moreover, PowerColor Red Devil Golden Sample RX 580 and Red Devil RX580 adopt the Mute Fan Technology that intelligently turns off the fan when the temperature is below 60°C, providing silent gaming during medium and low
