StarCraft is now available for free

Just over 19 years after the game's release, Blizzard decides to make StarCraft available for free! RTS game fans can download the game via the company's website over here. The free offer includes both the original game as well as the Brood War expansion pack.

The free offer seems like an ideal promotion campaign for the upcoming StarCraft Remastered. Expected to be out this summer, this is an updated version of the original game with enhanced graphics, support for up to 4K resolution, improved audio and updated multi-player functionality.
