Cooler Master reveals budget-class MasterBox Lite 5

Cooler Master reveals a new gaming case for smaller budgets. The MasterBox Lite 5 is expected to hit the market in tens days in the US and towards the end of this month in Europe. Pricing will be $49.99 (49.99EUR) and you will be able to choose between three models, including a black version, a black/white model and a black/red edition.

This mid-tower steel case fits an ATX motherboard and has room for a CPU cooler with a maximum height of 160mm and video cards as long as up to 400mm. The interior offers room for two 3.5" HDDs as well as a single 2.5" disk. As with most new cases, there's no room for a 5.25" device. The MasterBox Lite 5 has a plexi glass side panel and features a translucent front panel.

The front of the case fits up to two 140mm fans or three 120mm fans, but these are not included by default. Cooler Master ships a 120mm rear fan with the case and says there should be enough room behind the front panel for a 360mm watercooling radiator with a maximum thickness of 50mm (without fans). The top of the case features an I/O panel with two USB 3.0 ports and the usual audio ports.

The four 120mm fans and front and rear watercooling support, ensures that performance is not compromised. Harboring up to 400mm of graphic card space, fitting your graphics card won’t be an obstacle. Finally, it comes with an edge to edge transparent acrylic side panel to show your internal components while the DarkMirror front panel tings the case with an attractive look, providing full visibility. The MasterBox Lite 5 can easily go wherever you need your PC to be with its manageable size. Put it on your desk, squeeze it against your bookshelf, or hide it away under your colleague’s work space.
