Sapphire: NVIDIA could enable FreeSync support with a driver update

Posted on Monday, June 19 2017 @ 10:31:51 CEST by

In a Q&A session with Level1Techs, Ed from Sapphire reveals that should NVIDIA want it, the company could implement FreeSync support via a driver update. This confirmation isn't really a surprise, NVIDIA wants to push its paid G-Sync feature and enthusiasts have suspected for a long time that the lack of FreeSync support on the NVIDIA platform is little more than a software limitation.
