Futuremark reveals Testdriver, a new tool that automates benchmarking by offering a one-stop solution that promises to run benchmarks, collect and store results, and build charts and reports without requiring anyone to be physically present at the PCs you are testing. The tool supports PCMark 10, PCMark 8, 3DMark, 3DMark 11, and VRMark benchmarks but should also be compatible with third-party benchmarks. Testdriver is primarily intended for corporations.

A new application from Futuremark and UL
Since joining UL in 2014, we've been investing in our tools and technology to find new solutions for our customers' problems.

Testdriver was born out the challenges we face in our own test lab, where we run close to 1000 benchmark tests a day on more than 80 systems. With the valuable input of our pilot program partners over the last two years, Testdriver has grown into a well-featured solution that is helping our customers across a range of business areas.

Testdriver is an ideal tool for IT administrators, who can replace costly and time-consuming field inspections with centrally managed remote testing and monitoring.

Testdriver helps hardware manufacturers reduce the amount of manual work required to test devices coming off the production line, which saves time, reduces errors, and improves reporting.

Testdriver also helps IT procurement specialists specify PC performance with benchmark scores that are readily compared with their organization's existing IT assets.
