Final version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds expected in six months

One of the hottest games of the moment is PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, an indie multi-player game that drops up to one hundred players onto an ever decreasing battlefield. It's a battle royal-style game, where players fight to be the last alive, and where you need to scavenge the environment for weapons and equipment.

Bluehole is currently offering the game via Steam's Early Access program for $30. In an interview with Rock Paper Shotgun, game creator Brendan Greene reveals the plan is to finish the game in six months. Over four million copies of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds have been sold so far and it's currently one of the most popular games on Steam. Soon the game will also be getting a zombie mode.
