Nordic Hardware published a story today about the Swedish retail pricing of AMD's Radeon RX Vega. The site received confirmation from several sources at retailers that the pricing is higher than expected.

Take this info with a grain of salt but if it's true the reference RX Vega may sell for around 7,000SEK ($856) excluding VAT. Adding in VAT and retailer margins, this implies a final retail price of 9,000SEK ($1,101).

For comparison, a GeForce GTX 1080 costs 5,600 SEK ($685) incl. VAT, while a GTX 1080 Ti sells for 8,000 SEK ($979). Nordic Hardware suggests the pricing 'feels wrong':
However, Nordic Hardware quotes their sources as saying these prices are setting a boundary for "real and final", and that the sentiment among Swedish retailers is that the pricing "Feels wrong".
Guess we'll now more by the end of the week. In the meantime, expect more rumors the coming days.
