The pricing of AMD's Polaris GPUs shot up significantly this year as the cryptocurrency boom resulted in a lot of sales to miners. Gamers blamed retailers and distributors for price gouging but now the anger is turning to AMD as the company is promoting a Radeon RX 570 that's being sold at an elevated price.

As you may remember, the AMD Radeon RX 570 was introduced in April 2017 for $169. So it's quite funny that the company is now stating on social media that the XFX Radeon RX 570 with the Quake Champions Pack is a good deal for only $279. Naturally, AMD's post was met with a lot of criticism as this makes it look like the company is condoning the inflated prices.
