MSI Radeon RX Vega 64 Air Boost is the first custom-design Vega

Yesterday news emerged that the custom-design Radeon RX Vega series video cards are delayed because AMD is already a week late with its shipment of Vega GPUs. There's no date for the new shipment so at the moment nobody can say with certainty when we can expect the first cards on retail shelves. All we can say is there will be nothing on this front until at least mid-October.

Now VideoCardz managed to pry a photo of the Radeon RX Vega 64 Air Boost from MSI. This is the first photo of a custom-design Radeon RX Vega 64 video card, it uses MSI's own blower-style cooler and has an I/O bracket with bigger vents to allow better airflow.

This is probably not what Vega fans were waiting for, it's basically almost the same as the reference card. The bad news is MSI has no GAMING model in its immediate pipeline, it's coming but until AMD can produce enough Vega chips all the custom cards are delayed.
