A photo emerged of the upcoming MSI X399 SLI PLUS motherboard for the AMD Ryzen Threadripper platform. This model is reportedly aimed at budget-oriented builds, it looks like a stripped down version of the X399 Gaming Carbon Pro AC.

This SLI Plus edition has what seems to be exactly the same layout, but without the reinforced PCI Express slots, no reinforced memory slots, just one shield for the M.2 slot and no cover for the audio chipset.

As VideoCardz points out, this is the ninth motherboard for AMD's Threadripper. For comparison, there are currently 48 motherboards with Intel's X299 chipset.
