Word is going around that AMD may have kicked off a temporary promotion for its Ryzen and Threadripper processors. Dutch tech site Hardware.Info noticed the pricing of all Zen-based consumer chips suddenly went down significantly in the webshop of a couple of Dutch and German stores.

At the moment, there aren't any details about whether this is a (West-)European thing or a global action from AMD. So if you're in the market for a new AMD processor, it may be worth it to check webshops this week for nice Thanksgiving promotions. Depending on the chip, prices are in the high single digits or low double-digit percentages lower than a couple of days ago.
