A month ago news hit the web about a big management shakeup at EK Waterblocks. Several executives left the company as they wanted to take EKWB into a different direction than the company's owner. This resulted in the departure of several executives, including the CEO, CTO and Head of Marketing.

Now there's a big update as TechPowerUp received confirmation from former CEO Mark Tanko and former CTO Niko Tivadar that they've joined Corsair. Tanko took up a position as Vice President & BU General Manager at Corsair, while Tivadar is Corsair's new Director of Engineering.
I can confirm that Niko and I joined CORSAIR team and look forward to the upcoming challenges. I cannot comment on our future activities at this moment but will gladly disclose them to TechPowerUp! readers next year. Happy Holidays, stay cool everyone! -Mark Tanko
Presumably, the former EKWB executives will accelerate Corsair's efforts to get into the custom water cooling market.
