NVIDIA revealed at CES that there are now 320 companies that use its NVIDIA DRIVE platform. Some of these are car makers themselves, others are mapping companies or software developers.

Two new design wins were announced, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Hung announced his company has a partnership with Uber and Volkswagen. NVIDIA's GPUs are found in the test fleet of Volvo SC90 SUVs that were deployed by Uber in 2016 in Pittsburgh and Phoenix.

Furthermore, Volkswagen is testing the NVIDIA DRIVEIX platform:
With Volkswagen, Nvidia said it was infusing its artificial intelligence technology into the German automakers’ future lineup, using Nvidia’s new Drive IX platform. The technology will enable so-called “intelligent co-pilot” capabilities based on processing sensor data inside and outside the car.
NVIDIA promises its Xavier self-driving car SoCs will start shipping to clients this quarter.
