Earlier today, we reported about how the Monero web-miner briefly found its way onto many government websites. Now we have a second story about cryptojacking as Qihoo 360's Netlab division published a report about the type of sites that run cryptocurrency miners.

Not surprisingly, 48.9 percent of all sites with a cryptojacking script were porn websites. The other half is spread among various categories. Perhaps interesting to note is that quite a number of cryptocurrency websites are running these scripts to make an extra cryptobuck.

The report also mentions that 0.24 percent of the Alexa Top 100,000 websites were found to be running a Monero JavaScript-based miner, with the one from Coinhive being the most popular one.
