Adoption of Microsoft's Windows 10 Fall Creators Update went very rapidly. Statistics from AdDuplex reveal the latest version of Windows 10 now makes up a total of 85.0 percent of the operating system's install base:
It's not entirely surprising to see 85 percent coverage at this point, as Microsoft announced the Fall Creators Update had hit full availability in early January. Since its release, the Fall Creators Update has appeared to enjoy a sharper rate of adoption than its predecessors, but the 10 percent jump over the past month is slower than the 20 percent jump is saw between December and January.

Soon the cycle will start again, as Windows 10 "Redstone 4" is expected to be released within a couple of weeks.

The AdDuplex stats are based on a sample of 5,000 Windows Store apps that use its SDK.
