Tesla Semi truck goes insanely fast (video)

It looks like with the adoption of the electric drive train, we'll have to reset our expectations of semi-trailer trucks. A new video is going around that shows a Tesla Semi test driver not giving a fuck about speed limits.

In the clip below, you can see how the Tesla Semi drives through a residential street. After passing the 25 mph speed limit sign, the truck accelerates so quickly that its tires start smoking. According to Tesla, the Semi can hit 0-60 miles per hour in just 20 seconds, even when it's hauling 80,000 pounds.
