A review of the new Intel Hades Canyon NUC with the Intel Core i7-8809G reveals some pretty impressive performance. The system has the Intel Core i7-8809G processor with AMD Radeon RX Vega M GH graphics.

There are no direct comparisons but Dutch tech site did some digging and reports the RX Vega M GH integrated graphics are faster than the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, but not as fast as the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB.

In 3DMark Fire Strike, the NUC achieves a score of 10 147 points, which climbs to 11 357 with the GPU overclocked to 1300MHz. This compares to 8000 points for the GTX 1050 Ti and roughly 12 000 points for the GTX 1060.

In 3DMark Time Spy, the RX Vega M GH delivers 2902 points in stock condition and 3241 points when overclocked. For comparison, the GTX 1050 Ti achieves 2400 points while the GTX 1060 cranks out 3850 points.

In real-world games, the RX Vega M GH also manages to beat the GTX 1050 Ti. Impressive!
