Mozilla rolled out Firefox 59, this release has better privacy for those who use the Private Browsing mode, and features some changes under the hood to deliver faster page load times.
Today, March 13, the latest release of Firefox Quantum for desktop users is now available. We’ve improved privacy for those who use Private Browsing mode. The latest version of Firefox Quantum is available for the Desktop and Mobile – iOS and Android.

- Faster page load times by loading either from the networked cache or the cache on the user’s hard drive (Race Cache With Network)
- Improved graphics rendering using Off-Main-Thread Painting (OMTP) for Mac users (OMTP for Windows was released in Firefox 58)
