A member of NVIDIA's Customer Care team revealed on Reddit that the GPU designer is working on an update that will resolve a blackscreen issue with the Oculus Rift VR headset. The bug is present in all driver releases since version 390.65.

The next GeForce Game Ready driver will resolve the problem:
Hello all.

My name is Manuel and I am part of the NVIDIA Customer Care team. We just fixed this bug and will roll out the fix to users in our next GeForce Game Ready driver later this month. Thank you for your patience.

Regards, Manuel
